What we store in the browser
After an explicit choice, the browser may locally store the selected language preference, market choice, and response to the cookie banner. These values are not used for profiling, advertising, or behavioral analysis.
Country detection
On first visit, the script requests a country code from the IPWho service to determine whether the consent banner must be displayed. The code is used only in the page’s memory, is not transmitted to Qlarivia via this site, and is not retained by the journal. The localization provider receives the necessary IP address to respond and applies its own privacy policy.
Consent zones
The banner is activated for EU and EEA states, plus the United Kingdom and Switzerland. If location cannot be determined, we adopt a precautionary approach and display the banner. For other countries—including the USA—the banner does not appear automatically; the Cookie Policy page remains permanently accessible.
Commercial Contact
The contact form prepares an email message in the visitor’s email program addressed to Qlarivia. The journal does not process the form via its own server. The commercial relationship declared with Qlarivia is explained on the About page.
Rights and Questions
